Carinthian Savings Bank receives 5 Stars for Excellent Customer Service

Austria’s largest jury has decided: At the FMVÖ Recommender Award ceremony in Vienna, the Carinthian Savings Bank received the highest award with five stars for its excellent customer orientation.

The Carinthian Savings Bank (Kärntner Sparkasse) has received the Recommender Award for the 13th time, and for the fifth time with 5 stars and the highest seal of approval for “Excellent Customer Focus.” This places it among the top regional banks in Austria. A particularly noteworthy detail: This rating is based on years of continuous improvement and numerous top-level awards, and is considered the “Oscar of the financial industry.”

Based on a survey of 8,000 banking and insurance customers in the first quarter of 2026, the Carinthian Savings Bank emerged as the winner of the FMVÖ Recommender Award, demonstrating its highly satisfied customers. This seal of approval is an excellent indicator of customer focus in the financial sector and shows which companies succeed not only in convincing their customers but in inspiring them. These most satisfied customers are the ones who recommend the companies most frequently.

The study was evaluated using the Net Promoter Score (NPS), an internationally recognized method that measures customer willingness to recommend a service and was developed by US business consultant Frederick F. Reichheld. This score is also an excellent indicator of a company’s growth.
