New member of the Verband der Freien Sparkassen e. V.
Deutsche Factoring Bank GmbH & Co. KG is the newest member of the Verband der Freien Sparkassen. The Bremen-based company supports German savings banks in international receivables and liquidity management.
Founded in 1971, the company’s revenue recently exceeded €18 billion, with over 70 percent generated from international business. Deutsche Factoring currently employs 315 people. The company has received multiple awards from Factors Chain International (FCI) as “Import Factor of the Year” for its outstanding performance in international factoring, underscoring its extensive international expertise.
Deutsche Factoring is therefore an excellent fit for the Verband der Freien Sparkassen. The cross-border, international exchange among regional institutions is one of the association’s core objectives. This was emphasized by the President of the Association of Independent Savings Banks, Dr. Tim Nesemann, at the ceremonial handover of the membership certificate at the association’s headquarters in Bremen on March 11, 2026 to the spokesperson of the management board Christian Eymery and to the managing director Susanne Gögel.
